minecraft adds wolves!

minecraft is adding wolves to the game. you’ll be able to tame them and have them help you kill cows, pigs, skeletons, etc… they are also adding an achievement/stats system. it should be fun!

teewars – cute little buggers with guns

i found a link to a game called teewars on ubuntuforums.org. it looks like a bunch of little kirbys from the nintendo games, but with guns! heres a little description of the game:
Teewars is a multiplayer 2D shooter, drawing its inspiration not only from the old classics, but also incorporating the advancements that FPS games brought in when the torch was handed over.
The game features 3D-accelerated sprite graphics, mouse-aiming, a grappling hook, some rather weird weaponry and a built-in multiplayer server. You can play it on Windows, MacOS X and any Linux flavour that can draw stuff on a screen.
