April 27th, 2009new boxee, new live cd, new name…
ive been working on a new live cd of boxee using the xubuntu as the base install. this will hopefully fix some issues that people have been having with networking and sound. i will be using xubuntu 9.04 and the latest version of boxee (with hulu working!!!!).
also in the works is an official name for this project as well as the artwork. what does everyone think of Boxee Now? this logo is in no way an official logo for this project, its just something that i threw together in a few minutes for fun. If anyone wants to create a logo, please send it to boxee@brianmathis.net

Thanks for the comment. I like the name aswell. I was hoping to have the torrent up and ready on 4/30, but found out today that I need to go out of town for work. So as of right now, I am shooting for this weekend. Check back soon for an update.

Might want to consider lxde as a lighter alternative to xfce.
